Diabetes Mellitus Types I and II
This study is for adults who are using metformin (Glucophage) to treat type 2 diabetes, but are having difficulty controlling blood sugar levels. If you qualify, the study may last up to 18 months, and you can continue taking current medications. All study related treatments and procedures are provided at no cost, and you may be compensated for time and travel. Health insurance isn't required.
The research site is in St. Louis, Mo.
This trial will study migraine frequency in people who have migraine with aura and who also have a heart defect called patent foramen ovale (PFO). To qualify, you must be ages 18 to 65, had your first migraine attack prior to age 50, and have not responded to, or cannot take, common migraine preventive medications.
The research site is in Atlanta, Ga.
This study will evaluate an investigational drug for moderate-to-severe asthma in African Americans 12 and older. Participants must be biological children of an African American mother and father. Medical insurance is not required, and compensation is available for time and travel.
The research site is in Rolling Hills Estates, Calif.
