Symptoms
Symptoms may vary from woman to woman, and many gynecological cancers, including endometrial, ovarian, and cervical cancers, have some of the same symptoms. If a woman has gone through menopause, it is especially important to report any unusual signs and symptoms. The most common symptoms of endometrial cancer are:
- Vaginal postmenopausal bleeding, spotting, bleeding between periods, or heavy periods. It is common for women diagnosed with endometrial cancer to have some type of abnormal vaginal bleeding.
- Premenopausal or perimenopausal bleeding
- Abnormal vaginal discharge
- Pelvic pain or pressure, usually occurring in the later stages of the disease
- Weight loss
Most of these symptoms do not mean you have cancer, but if you notice one or more for more than two weeks, see your doctor.
