I just paid $24,31 for an iPad2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic GF 1 Camera that we got for $34,26 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 42 inch LED TV to my boss for $678 which only cost me $68,18 to buy. The people who make it to the top of the "Top Doctors" and "Best Doctors" lists are the power and influence mongers. Some of them, like Lewis E. Braverman, who sexually assaulted all of his female patients, are criminals. Some of them, like Paul S. Appelbaum, have severe, disqualifying mental disorders, like Asperger's disease. Never go to a doctor's office or a hospital alone. Obtain legal counsel and inform staff that you will defend yourself against assaults, violence and incompetence. No one will protect you. Never pay for abuse or medical errors.

The advice is certainly correct as relates to online doctor searches and the comments added. I have written about this quite extensively at my blog and it really came to surface about how outdated and flawed the data was when I found my former MD who had been dead for 8 years still listed as active and accepting patients. Perhaps since my article about all the "dead doctors" in their content a greater use of the Social Security death index will be looked at.
In addition with my own survey and speaking with doctors I know and do business with, several looked around and found themselves affiliated with hospitals they have never set foot in, wrong specialties listed and retired doctors in the listings and Healthgrades was one but several of the others were just as bad. The AMA and myself too had a nice little chat about it which they posted under their news section.

You just can't believe everything you see today and healthcare as well as other areas of data are getting more flawed as time moves forward and is something we are all going to have to question and deal with as the virus of flawed data grows. The doctor listed in the link below was just sentenced this week as he suffered from "co-dependency" and was addicted to fraudulently billing Medicare according to his attorney. I think I have about heard it all at this point.

The sad thing about all of the MD ratings is that the companies who put the flawed information out there want the doctors to do the correcting, and they are all over taxed and busy as it is, so not fair and the companies who put the ratings out there are in fact passing the buck with flawed information that is not updated properly, and I'm not even touching the comments at this point, just the general listings.
