Emeritus at Wayne is considered one of Northern New Jersey's premier assisted living and Alzheimer's communities. Located close to route 46 and 80 in Passaic County, our community offers 95 apartments on three floors. Here our residents — in many cases, with their pets — enjoy retirement living. Yet should you need a helping hand from our warm and caring staff, many of whom have been here since we opened, we also offer complete assisted living services, tailor-made to your needs.

Our community also offers an innovative memory care program, Join Their Journey®, for seniors affected by Alzheimer's or dementia. Because your family's experience will be unlike any other, our goal is to get to know you and your loved one, so that we can offer support and solutions for your individual situation. We "join the journey" of your loved one by recognizing individuality, encouraging choices and allowing residents the dignity to live in a secure, personalized and familiar setting that feels comfortable for them.

Our common areas — including our lovely dining room, TV room and outdoor courtyard — give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another. We also offer a wide range of activities each month, including exercise classes and community outings. Emeritus at Wayne is located in a residential area near Shop-Rite, Bank of America, McDonalds, Wendy's and Japanese and Italian restaurants. Our community is also close to St Joseph's Wayne Hospital and a nursing home rehabilitation facility if ever needed.
