Set on beautifully landscaped grounds with an outdoor courtyard, meandering trails and lovely gardens, Emeritus at Roanoke is located near Highway 581 and I-220. Our senior living community offers 56 apartments on one floor for easy access. Our common areas — including our lovely dining room, TV room and activities center — give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another. We also offer a wide range of activities each month, including exercise programs and off-site excursions.
Over the past decade our community has become well known in the area for our innovative approach to caring for seniors with Alzheimer's or Dementia — an approach we call "Join Their Journey." The premise of Join Their Journey®, which is based on research conducted on seniors with Alzheimer's Disease, is simple: We believe that seniors affected by memory disorders still have so much to contribute to life. So our goal is to create a nurturing environment and provide ongoing opportunities every day that allow them to live purposeful, successful lives despite their disease.
