The Swedes confirm what we tacitly know -- that is, purposeful quality physical education contributes to academic success. The numbers are stunningly persuasive, though. School adminstrators just need support from research and data to empower them to do the right thing. Unfortunately, they are too often in their jobs for so short a time that they reject any strategies that do not show immediate results. Let's help them to make an investment in health, wellness, and school climate -- and ultimately personal and academic success -- for students by collecting and sharing local data that show similar results.

Again, the resurgence of awareness about the unity and vitality of physical activity and it's inherent stimulatory effect on the neural system, [brain imagery enhances our views now] but mimics the German and Scandinavian views [of the late 18th century] that movement makes minds strong too!

Let's get rid of as many bus transports for school age kids as possible and punctuate the school day with physical activities!!

At kidskills.com we offer a simple series of tasks for youngsters to master. Caregivers can follow teaching hints given there too. Move our kids RIGHT along!
