the media keeps overselling these discoveries. Then 5 years from now when the kinks are not worked out the science is no longer funded and all the work goes to waste.

OH, Yeah! Nothing in this article explains why this treatment should have such a long delay in application in humans? It can't do any harm, it would seem, whatever the outcome.
