Weird that your graphic didn't include a single "button" battery. However, the batteries you do show can injure as well.

I just lost my 5mos old yorkie from ingestion of two button batteries he got out of one of his dog toys.

He was only two lbs and still managed to swallow two!

These should be outlawed from childrens /dog toys all together. The acid leaks out when ingested and causes a slow horrible death or health issues related to the acid.

It is too late for my baby. It's funny I just saw this and lost him last week to this. Maybe he will save someone else tho so his death is not in vain.

"time for us to redouble our efforts to warn parents and work with manufacturers to take steps against this risk." ???

Get Real! This "risk" is the irresponsible parent who aren't aware of what their kids are doing. These are same parents on cell phones who sue the playground because their kid fell off a slide .

Watch Your Own Kid and be responsible for your own kids actions!

The next thing these parents will expect is for coins to be the size of a dvd.
