Could this help in treating auto immune diseases?

I have always thought that the oxygen levels in the body must affect Diabetes as I have dramatic changes in my levels (As a type 1 Diabetic) after getting off Aeroplanes. I would love to be a guineapig for human tests for this kind of development. Who do I get in touch with to help out?

Hyperbaric chamber has a positive affect on the immune system and increases Beta cells....My question is what if any harmfu affects are there to consider from hyperbaric treatments? If there are no harmful side affects, then why not treat diabetics? It is known that over time, use of the commonly prescribed medication Metformin, exhausts the Beta Cells, often leading to the use of insulin injections. Yet, this medication is prescribed without warning or informing patients that it's use will further impair and eventually exhaust the patients exhisting Beta Cells. The diabetes epidemic is a monstrous cash cow for the pharmaceutical companies who have zero incentive to see diabetes or any malady treated by anything other than drugs. America has about 1% of the world's population but we consume about 70% of the prescription drugs. The pharmaceutical CEOs live lavishly on the suffering of sick people by the hollow promise of just take this pill and all your problems will go away, and by the way, pay no attention to those nasty little side affects that are often worse than what you're suffering from. And if you do have a bad reaction, we have a pill for that, too. If Americans have the best health care in the world, then why are we taking so sick and taking so many drugs?
