Men's Breast Cancer Often More Deadly, Study Suggests

About a year while going thru multiple medical problems, 2 of which were potentially fatal, an MRI of my lungs showed something else. He told me get a mammography. Got the prescription & went back to radiology lab. I was sent to a special area apparently for women. I freaked, made appointment but never went. So far my doc hasn't asked for the report & I haven't said anything further. I found it too embarrassing & only women get it. If I'm wrong then I wouldn't treat it anyway, too embarrassing. I have so many major medical issues that could kill me. I didn't expect to make into my 60's but I've survived. If I have breast cancer I would leave it be. I couldn't stand to tell a soul, including my wife. Whatever happens will happen. The medical industry does not make this easy for a man. I don't beleive it is real, I never heard of any male have this.

Would men receive the same mammogram exam as women, just wondering?

There should be more publicity on breast cancer of men, the symptoms, and the need for annual examinations for breast cancer of men.
