I really think that stress is one of the leading problems to our health, especially since it leads to so many secondary problems (overeating, smoking, etc.). As a woman, I agree that women react to stress differently. Recently, I have been trying yoga and guided meditation to try to reduce my own levels of stress. I was reading on Belleruth Naparstek’s blog (http://www.belleruthnaparstek.com/hot-research/review-reveals-yoga-reduces-stress-in-healthy-adults-doh.html) about a study finding that yoga was a very effective stress reliever. Maybe that’s why so many of my female friends are interested in yoga?
