This is exactly what occured in my mothers system. She, Charlie Evelyn Ray Joines, recieved a pacemaker in 2004, and a replacement in 2011. She was doing great! In January 2012 she suddenly become extremely sick. After quick and intense medical care, it was discovered that she had endocarditis, infection of the heart valves. It hit her so hard, so fast, that there so not enough time to save her life. If my mother would have known of this potential problem with her pacemaker, she would have aggressively persued a solution with all of her doctors. Then my mom would be here for mothers day 2012. We must educate others so that they can make the right decisions to live!
