Well I think your article, your research, your medical field and your pharmaceutical industry is biased! I see this disturbing signs in last couple of months in which there seems to be a collective effort to redefine "Autism" to set the stage for the other shoe to drop when they take services away and basically "throw away" our kids! I a father of a 4 year old boy who was given the diagnose of Mild Autism at the age 2. We did all the wrong alternative treatments via a "DAN" don't call them doctors! After a mild improvement at first , he regressed daily. 7 months ago we went to see Dr. Michael Goldberg he diagnosed him with "NIDS" we began his protocol of anti viral, anti bacterial treatment ( as blood test showed high viral titters) and then started him on SSRI. In this short time, he has made such progress that other doctors now claim it was a misdiagnose and it was not autism to start with which is complete "BS". To all those parents who got hit with this I feel your pain.. I know what you are going through.. just know there is hope.. These kids are sick and have medical condition.. although it is very tough, but once you get the right treatment you will be amazed how quickly they recover.. Its never too late... Stay away from "DAN" doctors!!!!! read about "NIDS" and it will answer lot of questions I am glad that I did and I wish you all luck and perseverance!!
