So the athletes above the age of 40-50 were more likely to get symptoms of Alzeimers than those under?

That seems like it could purely be based on the fact that people in those age ranges are more likely to develop brain disorders in general anyway.

A bit like saying boxers under the age of 25 are more likely to get caught speeding ... therefore boxing increases risk of speeding.
