These studies always talk about aspirin and possible bleeding. When I talked to my doctor I said way don't you tell you patients to use enteric aspirin. It appeared to be a new idea to him. The pill will pass through the stomach with little problem.

I would not take aspirin that was not enteric. The same is true about fish oil. The doctor said fish oil smelled. I told him that is because fish oil capsules will break down in the stomach rather than the intestine - enteric coating will allow the capsule to pass through the stomach.
