umm, duh, this is because healthcare providers routinely give inaccurate information about the safety of breastfeeding while taking SSRIs. Moms think they are protecting their children from potential harm by NOT breastfeeding, not realizing that evidence shows the risks of NOT breastfeeding far outweigh the risks of taking SSRIs while BFing for a healthy, full-term infant.

My inability to breast feed my first born had nothing to do with the fact that I took prozac while I was pregnant.
