We are all hopeful and thankful for advances and breakthroughs in fighting this horrible disease. My wife has been through all the advances (new treatments) since Oct, 2009. Bio-chemo - complete through the maintenance phase where new tumors became evident; Ipilimumab - kept all tumors stable; Zelboraf - just about killed her but her Dr. was brave enough to experiment with a desensitization process where she was able to continue and saw dramatic tumor reduction in 3 months at half dose. Last scan (8/01/12) shows dramatic growth in one of her tumors. Going to the bullpen once again; Ipilimumab with targeted radiation. Thankful for great doctors and scientists and research staff. Hoping to get to keep this woman for a long time to come. Cancer is bad but God is good!
