Smoking Linked to Higher Rate of Psoriasis: Study

Last August 2011 I quit smoking cold turkey after having smoked for many years. And nothing has been the same since. Starting in Oct. 2011 I was ill and hospitalized for 3 days for several reasons, among them immune system issues. And have been ill ever since. Seems everything in and about me has gone haywire...Herpes Simplex I major outbreaks on outside AND inside of mouth where never had before + ulcers inside mouth = dry mouth issues causing major problems and swelling inside mouth causing severe bites inside mouth, and on tongue and inside lower lip repeatedly. Have developed SEVERE case of Psoriasis of head that is itching terribly, sores on face, lumps on back of head and neck. Am overwhelmed with this and having been dealing with death of husband this has been the last thing I needed. I should have continued smoking I guess. I don't know what is happening with this and more.
