It's good to hear other comments. I believe that in many cases lipitor has a place in lowering the chance of having a heart attack but, when certain things start to occure such as Nuropathy and memory loss it's time to try a differant approach. It" really up to to patient to invetigate and then talk to the Doctor and if he does'nt listen and take it in then it's time to change your doctor.....

These criminal doctors keep saying, oh the benefits outweigh the side effects. It's mostly old people who take these drugs. Personally, I think they are just trying to kill us all off so they won't have to pay us our social security. It's absolutely criminal for doctors to cram these chemicals down our throats when there are natural ingredients to do the same thing. They just do it for the kickbacks from big pharm. Instead of killing us, do your job and give us a good diet plan. Oh, yeah, no money in that !!!

my mother takes Simvastatin. As soon as she began taking this drug she became confused and had no short term memory. I keep telling her doctor this, but the doctor just put her on Aracept (can't spell it). I knew in my heart of hearts there was a connection.

Would a lower dosage prevent the higher blood sugar such as 20mg. versus 40mg. Reason for asking is that both my brother and sister have diabetes.
