The article has a weird quote at the end:
"We have a very common transmitted organism that is once again rearing its head by increasing frequency in the population and increasing resistance. And the public needs to know about this."
As though the bacteria of the world have united in some master plan to "increase their frequency in the population" and "increase their resistance."
If people would keep their pants on until marriage and then remain faithful while married, diseases like this would be a complete non-issue.

Using condoms REDUCE the risk but they do not ELIMINATE the risk for any of the stds out there. For gonorrhea, using condoms reduces the risk about 50%. Waiting until marriage really is the healthiest choice.

It may not be treatable but it is 100% preventable. All you have to do is save yourself for marriage. Go ahead and laugh but I didn't have to worry about this crap when I was younger and I have a better relationship with my wife because of that decision.
