Your comments I'm afraid are completely inaccurate about Lyme not existing in the south of the US.

I am from England, I visited family in San Fernando Valley USA in the January of 2005. I was bitten several times, I had three bulls eye rashes on my back, my husband spotted them. I have been seriously ill ever since and my Lyme & Bartonella was eventually picked up and diagnosed by a Professor in England in February, 2011. That trip has ruined my life.
