The test sounds like a miracle, especially in treating the elderly whose depression often gets overlooked and treated as just getting older. It is so important to detect the inflammation that could also affect other organs. I hope to find out more about this test.

I am searching for ways to help my son who has been depressed, at times lives with major depressive disorder since he was 7-years-old. He is now age 13 and medications are not helping. This article and the links provided are a great resource. Thank you!

How would disability insurance companies use the information? Could the information be abused? Could a false negative indicate to insurance companies that disability and medications will not be covered?
