Snowblower Hand Injuries Often Extensive, Study Finds

When I was growing up I was taught to keep my hands and feet out of moving machinery, and following that very good advice is probably why I still have all my fingers and toes.

Since these terrible injuries can happen with many types of machinery, I suggest that parents resume teaching this forgotten piece of wisdom.

Since common sense has become so uncommon, might I suggest that snow blower users be advised to clear jams with a wooden stick?
