Many environmentalists believe that because factory farms inject many different types of antibiotics into cows, pigs, turkeys, chickens, sheep, etc, to prevent the spread of disease caused by overcrowded conditions, that folks who are developing resistance to antibiotics because their bodies are overloaded.

I guess the writer didn't feel it was important to inform the reader of symptoms or descriptions of what these infections look like. Are these infections simply open wounds to the head & neck that allow staph to enetr? Is it from scratching one's head? Does the infection appear as lesions? Does it spread?
