If there are usually about 500,000 deaths per year from the usual flu strain - and HINI is now the dominant strain by 70% with about 7,000 deaths in 8 months since it surfaced in April 2009 - Then the world is MUCH BETTER OFF WITH THE HINI VIRUS BEING AROUND THAN THE USUAL STRAIN OF FLU VIRUS (DUH!)!!!!!

There is early, anecdotal evidence that vitamin D a protective effect against swine flu. Certainly the role of vitamin D in immunoregulation is well documented. You can read the case reports to two physicians experiences with vitamin D and swine flu here
