"This will not change our (Tamiflu) guidelines," said Charles Penn, a WHO antivirals expert.
that pretty much says it all. Pharma companies are running the show unencumbered.

The simple fact that Donald Rumsfeld has a connection with this company is enough of a red flag to suggest that there's something shady going on. Rumsfeld was also behind the push to get aspartame accepted on the market --even though it was already well-known to be poison. Meanwhile, how many swine flu 'deaths' are actually attributable to Tamiflu? No one knows--or no one's asking?

duh! This whole FLU immunization, medication, pandemic, H1N1 hoopla is the effect of efficient gloabal marketing by pharmaceutical companies. This is DISASTER MARKETING. Yearly, we get inundated by reports of how bad this flu season would be. This year, they've got a new bug up their sleeve. So instead of having to profit with just the one vaccine for yearly flu. They also get to profit from the 2nd flu bug, H1N1 and aha... retrovirals. Should we do a thorough investigation on each study about TAMIFLU, and see who recommended it for use globally, we will be shocked to note that these so called experts have benefited directly or indirectly from the largess of giant pharmaceutical companies. Watch out for next year, these companies will again device reports and studies about a) a better HIN1 vaccine b) a better retroviral, c.) another retroviral to combine with tamiflu , d.) or a new form of flu virus!(umm... flu bugs evolve yearly, may be even hourly - thats a fact.) Guess what? we got a shot for that!

Only "partial" results of studies released? Is that because it's a military secret? Of course Governments and those who spent Billions purchasing this drug have to say it works or they'd have some very serious explaining to do. Actually future studies should not be on Tamiflu but on the politicians (Bush administration is the first that comes to mind, they stockpiled most of it in US) who promoted it and how much and in what forms they may have been reimbursed by drug companies.

How about staying healthy, exercising, stop eating mcdonalds, and stop sitting on your ass watching tv all day to prevent any illness. People are stupid.
