The circumcision researchers cut the study short because it was "futile", but if it had continued the way it was going, it could have shown that circumcision itself, and not just resuming sex too soon, increased the transmission rate to women. That is not something they wanted to find. They cut short all three of the studies claiming to show that circumcision protects men, too, yet based on those, they have rolled out mass circumcision campaigns in Africa without any field trials. This could be a recipe for disaster.

As a Lupus suffer, I pray and hope someone does come up with medicine that will at least help alleviate the pain of LUPUS and not cause more damage. Some of the medication I have taken may help alleviate one sympthom but then causes more problems in another area. It comes down to, I'd rather face the pain and not cause more health problems----such as damage to my kidneys or liver.
