Mexico's self-reported rate of H1N1 infection and death are not believable. What is incredulous is that the Mexican government is desperately trying to re-start tourism while the flu (and death)count keeps climbing. This is nothing but a self interested State.
What bothers me and other average "Joe Citizen's" is that both the CDC and WHO have not given any indication of the numbers of untested, but suspected flu cases and casualties. Where's the transperancy President Obama?

Several lines of evidence support the idea that the Mexican government has lied and continues to lie about the severity and extent of its outbreak. The media has refrained from reporting this fact, probably because it is so politically controversial to criticize Mexico these days. But this reticence has inferably contributed to the global spread of the illness and is certainly very bad policy.
