There's a form of niacin commonly available that doesn't cause flushing. It's called Inositol Hexanicotinate. The flushing I got from regular niacin terrified me but this has zero flushing.

Instead of just prescribing pills for these people why don't we actually try to change the behavior that led to their bad cholesterol in the first place? Popping a pill isn't going to solve the real problem that these people have.
