aspirin is not for everyone. For all of the hype and for all of the hoopla, aspirin is not the resurgent end all drug that some may believe it is. In fact, in some cases, an aspirin regimen greatly raises risk and can be potentially harmful.
Bottom line, discuss it with your personal physician - to let your professional decide what's best in your case. Don't make an important health decision based on the fad of the moment - or what you see on TV... (or worse).

You may miss the photojournalism presentation if you read too much and skip the slideshow. With the visuals and further explanations, this is a nice piece.

Apparently the editor did not like my comment that agreed with the
comment about the ambiguity of the article. I merely stated that this is typical of the state of journalism today---shallow and often meaningless.
The quality of journalism is deplorable--naive, biased, sloppy. And I say this despite being a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
What happened to the watchwords of journalism" Who? What? When? Where?
How? Why?---and the facts, just the facts.

Ditto. This article is typical of the status of journalism. Shallow, meaningless and for most of the major media, deceptive and at odds with both common sense and decency.
I never cease to be amazed by the incompetence of journalists today---and I am a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism. Time to teach depth, culture and honesty.

Very ambiguous article. What was the point? I am 82+ and take one per day with no obvious bad effects. My Mom died at 52 from malignant hypertension. This dosage was recomended by MDs.
