Not having insurance would just be completely crazy. I am an accountant and in my local area Wise Health Insurance is the best health insurance finder I ever had. Yes my insurance does cover dental and eye insurance which is a big help to my life.

Starting this year your child (or children) cannot be denied coverage simply because they have a pre-existing health condition. If you don't have insurance for you and your children search "Wise Health Insurance" online they are the best.

Obama's bill doesn't lower costs. It shifts them. Unhealthy to Healthy, Old to Young, Female to Male, Lower Class to Middle Class, Irresponsible to Responsible.

The mandate forces the young/healthy (especially males) into paying a wildly disproportionate share of the costs relative to what they use due to community rating, gender rating, and bloated minimum coverage requirements. Actuarial tables go out the window. It's like asking someone who drives a Ford Escort to pay insurance on a BMW. This is to "spread risk". You want me to subsidize the fat/lazy McDonald's crowd, the elderly (I already pay Medicare taxes), illegals who won't be forced into the pool but who will continue to use healthcare resources, the welfare population, and octomoms that pop out kids with no means of supporting them? I say no.

The fine to opt out is so small, it would save me thousands! Plus, you can opt in if and when you need to because pre-existing conditions are now covered. Better than being a low cost cash cow for the insurance companies, paying in artificially inflated premiums!! The classic adverse selection problem, which could drive everyone else's premiums up. DONT FUND HEALTHCARE ON MY BACK.
