What is it with 'waiting ON the test'?

Hired help waits on clients, but companies wait FOR tests.

It's bad enough that crap English is heard constantly on the streets. If professionals who should know better don't know how to use proper English, what hope is there for the less educated to?

Shame on you, U.S. News, for giving this a pass.

Sorry, but the article is too short and lacks enough real information to make any intelligent comment, and it would greatly interest me to know more. I guess I'll have to do some web searching to find out. This statement implies no criticism of the author, as I realize they most likely work under restrictions put upon them by others as to length, as well as factors I'm not aware of. This si a problem I see in all forms of media - TV, radio, newspapers, and the web, among others. - TKD3

I completely agree with Roger. The only thing I would add is advice to submit the results under an anonymous id. The last thing that you want to do is to provide the manufacturer with your genetic information in a form that would be highly marketable (to insurance companies and a host of other "interested parties").

I think flooding the market with questionable products that profess to diagnose serious diseases is dangerous. But it is so the American way. Curiosity could very well kill the cat. FDA- no!

I completely agree with Roger. The only thing I would add is advice to anyone who buys the test to submit it for analysis under an anonymous id. The last thing that you want is to give the manufacturer your genetic information in a form that would allow it to be marketed (to insurance companies and any number of other "interested parties") to your detriment.

I see no problem with the test. The individuals against have no obligation to buy it. There are some of us who are curious on what the results would show.
