I am now 49, been on med for the last 5 to 6 years . The so call doctors don't alway no every thing. You go for one thing and come out with 5 or 6 things.

ONLY WE NO OUR BODY, I am now down to 3 med per day because I did my homework.

YES the doctors are getting kick backs and Yes alot of med have BAD side effects.

WE ALL NEED TO STICK TOGETHER TO STOP THIS.

Yes most folks take too many medications. when you give your doctor a complaint, his first impulse is to give you a drug for it. Then with complications, you need another, and side effects from that and you need another. First their sole purpose is to find out why you are having the symptoms and how to eliminate them without drugs. The big Pharmacies have brain washed the doctors into thinking that drugs are the cure all. Look at the billions they make on statins. Now they want to put children on blood pressure meds to prevent hypertension????? Paleeze!!! They want us on drugs from cradle to grave. They have pushed to lower the normal blood pressure so more folks can go on medication, they have pushed to lower cholesterol so more folks can be medicated. Where does it stop????? Please people do your own research and see that we don't need all these drugs. Yes there have been advances, however the FDA does not work for us. It is in cohoots with the big pharmacies.

The FDA is getting a bad record approving questionable drugs for humans. Its a matter of looking and listening to the warnings on drugs. Many FDA approved drugs are causing a multitude of side effects, side effects which may lead to death, cause disability, even cancer. Pay heed to the warnings in drug ads. Think first before taking drugs with multiple warnings signs... Drug ads tell you what might occur if a drug is taken. That is a consumer right.

There are a mulitude of class action suites ongoing against drug companies. Drug companies are looking for profits. Never believe you are excempt from any listed side effects of a drug. The drug companies have absolutley no idea how drugs will affect an individual.

I have been in the health care field for over 50 years. yes there have been advances in medical care and medications, however the FDA is a fraud and the drug companies have their hands in the back pockets of the legislature. Do you know that years ago a drug company could have a monopoly on a drug for only a few years. After that anyone could copy the drug. So they needed to make their money early. Now they just petition the legislature for more time to keep a monopoly and they can extend it for 30 years!!!! Big Pharma needs to be monitored and controlled. They make the rules, they do the tests, and they print their own results. Of course they will be favorable!!Mean while, the average blood pressure has been lowered so more folks can be put on medications, the blood glucose level which used to be normal is now glucose intolerant. Cholesterol which use to be normal is now needing statins. We are controlled by them and I for one am tired of it. I refuse to take vaccinations, statins and hypertensive drugs and i do not accept fluoride treatments. My doc is not too happy but I am maintaining by herbal supplements and not doing more damage to my body. I have started acupuncture which I know will help. Just don't take what the doc says, do your own research. Do you know they are trying to do research on 5-8 year olds and if their blood pressure isn't' what they think it should be they want to start them on meds!!! Their goal is cradle to grave medications to keep the drug companies in luxury. Take charge of your own body folks. Look at the money they make on chemo drugs. There is a cure for Cancer but it would put the drug companies and loads of docs and nurses and medical centers out of business. They came out for a cure for TB and look what it did to the medical community. They won't do that againl

what a crass cabal against drugs. if were going to achiece the best iteration of ourselves, we need to splurge on the very thing that evolution allowed us to come across, DRUGS. To not indulge in their largesse potential they offer, would be to waste our evolutionary advantage over other now menial species, but catching up ever so quickly, like the ant; strength in numbers as they demonstrate. Theres a constant alchemy amidst our brain chemistry but in order to reach that pinnacle, we must pop those pills!! Even if we dont need them

This is the true picture of USA health care. Scams...kickbacks and fraud! The FDA has know this drug causes heart attacks for a long time. This is criminal! The drug maker GLAXO takes in 4.4 billion$$$$ every year and the FDA was not stopping this.

The drug makers run the FDA!

A filmmaker has been reversing diabetes in now 10 countries and the drug makers do not promote this

Finally, Dr. Mitchell, an honest doctor who will tell us what is truly going on in this country. There are very few doctors such as you, who lay people can trust. The only way we can get this issue turned around is for people to use alternative healing methods instead of medical doctors - only then will the medical schools change their tune.

Ann of IA 1:15PM October 21, 2010

It's well documented that prescription drugs kill over 100,000 people in the U.S. alone. This does not include errors in prescribing or administration. Medical school is an indoctrination program funded by drug companies. The incidence of chronic disease only increases as the use of drugs escalates. Chemotherapy kills more people than cancer. We do great at acute care and surgical interventions and diagnostics, but most chronic disease is lifestyle related and can't be addresed with poisons that disrupt normal biochemistry.
