It has been shown in two european studies that if we use Eovist with 1.5T or 3T MRI we can see 50% more lesions than CT. Therefore if CT is used to detect the tumor burden, MRI would be better. I think we need to study MRI and Wovist in these colorectal cancer patients. I hope that a doctor who can do this kind of research reads this comment.
MRI has no ionizing radiation and our new techniques such as BLADE help us to freeze motion and gives us sharper pictures.
