You won’t find any growth hormones in this ice cream. However, the 98 percent natural and gluten-free treat made in Skowhegan, Maine, has a 14 percent butter fat content. “Butter fat is a higher fat content than in average ice cream. Most people say our ice cream is creamier, and that’s why,” says sales manager Patricia Thomas. Flavors up for tasting included black raspberry chocolate chip, toasted coconut, Maine wild blueberry and key lime pie.
