Wow, I am amazed at how many people are excited about getting free insurance for the poor, guaranteed insurance for pre-existing conditions and coverage for dependent children until 26.
Guess what? I'm not paying for you to get it. Because my middle class family is going to cancel the insurance policy (about 10,000 a year now) and take the penalty. We will go to the emergency room as necessary. Oh, I suppose if one of my three kids gets some really bad illness, I will get a policy. They cant deny us now.
You see, we are only middle class now, because I quit my job to keep from paying higher taxes when this president got elected. (we were upper middle class, but I didn't want to pay taxes so that others could have a job for 181 days and then apply for unemployment).
Bottom line, I have worked all my life for what I have, and you cant have it. I will stick it in the mattress, bury it in the yard or ship it over seas before I let you take it from me, because you are too good to work when you can get it for free.
What should really bother you isn't that I am like this, but that I am not the only one like this. We as a society, are responsible for the children (and 26 is NOT a child) and the elderly. The rest of you need to take care of yourselves.

How is forcing people to pay lots of money for something they might not even want a good thing? This is, to me, quite terrifying.

Try to buy insurance in Massachusetts if you have been uninsured for 63 days, a state with mandated insurance. You can only buy it during a 30 day period in August and September. If not you are fined by the state and refused insurance for another year! It is a scam that has caused innumerable problems and huge cost increases in both care and premiums. This is a bureaucratic attempt to force a bureaucrat's values to a one size fits nobody plan.

The Health Care improvement Act, if it is fully implemented in 2014, it will allow persons with un-insurable, pre-existing conditions to get health indemnity. In this policy, the manager part of the Federal government they can make full implemented. We represent most of the major medical carriers for individual and group coverage. We also represent a number of guaranteed acceptance health benefit plans which accept persons with pre-existing conditions.

I think making everyone have health care insurance is great. There are things in all of our lives we could give up in order to better take care of ourselves. It's sad that it took this long for someone to come in and see that like the President. I see it as if he cares more about us then we do in our own well being and that in itself says alot about our president. I am so excited to have this chance to not be turned down by health insurance providers because of an illness that may not even be in my control. I say great job to our President!!!!!!
