You have no insurance and you need a doctor - go to a doctor and see if he/she would like you to mow their grass, clean their house, babysit, etc. for payment of your visit to him/her. C'mon, get creative instead of whining about the situation.

This Obama Health Care plan will "kill grandma" and if not physically it will financially. When Grandma is on a very very limited income and is "Told" she "Has" to have this insurance, it is taking away her personal rights - another killer of Grandma. Even though grandma has to work to supplement her meager income, she is still guaranteed the constitutional rights that her forefathers fought for.
If the younger generation is Not able to find work in their current fields of employment, then they should take on whatever they can find instead of sitting home and worrying about where their next paycheck is coming from or waiting for a government hand out. Instead of looking for an office job (or like what they worked at before), look for a car wash job, a gardening job, flip hamburgers, or do some farming (seasonal).
I personally am tired of all of the "poor me" attitude that this country has. Everyone should start reading the history of what their parents/grandparents/great grandparents had to find a job. I look back at my parents and grandparents and they went out and got jobs, two, three & four jobs. It wasn't what they wanted to do the rest of their lives, but they managed to have health care, pay their bills and raise their families, and still save some money. It was the ideal situation for anyone, and it still isn't today.
So let's all pull together and quit our whining (including me), get down on bended knee and thank God for what we have & don't have.

My husband has been without a job for 2 1/2 years. I have had 3 major back surgeries with in three years, and am no closer to being able to return to work. We have survived on our "retirement" savings account and what little Florida has given my husband for un-employment. He has sent his resume to all his friends, and "Head Hunters" who specialize in his field from Alaska to California, Colorado, New York and every-where in between. I'd say out of 300 plus resumes that have gone out,he had 2 interviews. Both said he was over qualified. Now, as he approaches 63, he is being forced into early retirement. He bought health insurance, and due to the fact he has been treated for sleep epnea (still is), Blue Cross of Florida made him sign a waiver if anything related to his sleep epnea should arise,he is on his own! This pratice has got to come to an end! We already pay more for our health then any western country! This is not socialism, this is a health crisis that has been much to long in the making. And finally we have a president who promised he would take health care and fix it so every american can go to a Dr or Hospital and not be turned away. Health Insurance is not just for the wealthy, it costs us so much more by having the uninsured visit the Emergency Room for something a family Dr should be able to take care of. And finally, this is NOT about the Right, Left Independent or Tea Party, this is a right for all Americans.

Under Sen. Harry Reid's legislation, states would be required to expand Medicaid eligibility anywhere from 133-150% above the federal poverty limit.
The Congressional Budget Office estimates this mandate to the states would drain state coffers by $25 billion. Obviously, this is causing some great concern to state governors from both political parties.
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and New York State Governor David Patterson wrote a letter to the two New York Senators fearful that Senator Reid's bill" could add close to $1 billion annually in new State Medicaid costs to New York , with serious implications for already strained State and City budgets."
New York State has one of the most liberal Medicaid policies in the United States, and in these tough economic times, they're saving money by rationing care for women in the state seeking cancer screenings.
And the Democrats in Congress hope to solve the problem by increasing the burden on all 50 states?
