Health Tip: Bonding With Your New Baby

Reader Comments

Back to article

Skin-to-skin contact and nurturing touch are incredibly important for a newborn baby. At birth, the sense of touch is the most developed of all senses. It's a baby's natural way of communicating and connecting with the world. Nurturing touch and infant massage can start from day one, also as a great way to bond.

To incorporate loving rhymes and songs into the massage, or any nurturing touch moment between parent and baby, please check out my book 'Mommy, Draw Stars on My Tummy.'
