I think the research was flawed. She only considered weight percentile, without taking into account height percentiles. If a child is in the 90+ percentile for height, the weight could very well be over 80% and still healthy. Just as well, a child's height that is in the 10th percentile with a weight at 60% - what she would consider "healthy", is probably overweight.
I think this research, although probably correct, can not be taken seriously because of this flaw.
