I guess when you think about it the human body (let alone the mind) really is a mysterious and wonderful thing. I find it a little sad though that some people try and pawn off their actions on an excuse that after having so many people mis-value it, almost seems irrelevant to most. It's sad. I learned some interesting things from this sight, and for that im thankful

I think that this stuff is really interesting how some people can just do this in their sleep and not remember one bit.

But it is also a little creepy.

My Mother-in-Law warned me. As a child, my husband would come out of his room within an hour of going to sleep. He would walk to the front door, unlock it and go for great outdoors. They always caught him and finally put a chain lock up high. Unfortunately they did this in his presence during the day. That very night he came out, walked to the table and slid a chair across the living room. He climbed up, undid the chain and slid the chair back to the table (like a good boy). Then proceeded to the door, unlocked it and went outside, all while his parents watched in utter disbelief. They could never speak to him or he would scream and swing at them. As long as they didn't speak, they could lead him back to bed and he would finish out the night without incident.

He talks in his sleep - when he is stressed about work - and has jacked me in the jaw once, but as far as I know, he no longer sleepwalks.

My daughter has sleepwalked too but only to stand in the living room and stare at the back of my head until I realize she is there.

These use to be funny stories to tell - until now. Just something else to be paranoid about!

When I was living in Hawaii,in a 2 story Duplex, my daughter would come down the stairs, fully dressed in play clothes starting at age 4 and go to the kitchen, retriving a snack and going to the front door. I liked to stay up late to watch TV from the main land and I am glad I witness this without her actually going through the door. We had to put top latches on the door with locks. Now that she is older I haven't witness her doing this. We believe she was going through her regular routine as she did every day coming home from school. She would go up stairs change clothes and come down, get her snack and go out to play.

YOU might want to go back to the 3rd grade and learn to spell, punctuate, and compose a proper sentence !
