Adults who tend to get worry about things or think a lot about life or other things are likely not be able to get enough or less sleep per day.

this is a god survey, with sufficient warrants to back up claims, but the human factor is not played into the equation. Every human being is a little different, in one way or another. This means that every human being has their ups and their downs. I have not slept for 36 hours, and the only thing that bugs me is a really hot sweat. I also work out each day, and eat right. I am a doctor.

For over 30 years I've done quite well with sleeping 2 - 3 hours per night. Upon waking, I am alert and refreshed and am ready to do strenuous activity. At 74 years of age, I usually can do strenuous work for 5 - 7 hours before getting tired such as installing, repairing fences, working cattle, etc. Still 6 ft tall and weigh 175 pounds. Seems to work for me.

So, if you had a chance of dying of 100%, without sufficient sleep, the chance of dying is 115%?!? That means there's a -15% chance of eternal life. Yikes

Realy is a very, very good information ,vey well documented. For me, at the age of almost seventy in very active mood, sleeping prolems are mainly related with family daily quality live..with quality marriage live .It is very difficult to get good sleep schedule when your marriage is failed and you have to be for any reason in the same space of of your companion; when you can not protec your family or when a dear love one -a son, for example- can not gain goals that he or she deserve for external reason...or even when you can not protec your sons in some specif issue. Those reason are as paiful as when you do not have money for basic things or you do not have resources to hire a real good lawyer

While we all have a 100% chance of dying regardless of the cause, if sleep deprivation can lead to numbers 3,4,5,6 and 8, it does appear that loss of or less sleep would increase our chances of premature death. One need only look at the latest statistics as they pertain to death from certain diseases to see that we must cover all bases to begin to start a reversal of the upward shift in the numbers. Good rest is a part of a good healthy lifestyle.

You're reading it incorrectly. Instead view it as your odds of dying right this instant. That is what would be 15% more than normal.
