Sorry remind me again who FUNDED THE STUDY? Yeah Yeah Yeah

Perhaps the author should read the full text of the study here :http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1365-2796.2011.02467.x/pdf

No auto-immune safety signal was found. This is NOT the same as finding no relationship between the vaccine and auto immune reactions. The fact is that 1000 plus individuals were found to fit the criteria for new onset auto immune diseases post vaccination. The fact that a Merck paid investigator chooses ambiguous wording to suggest a lack of causation is fairly typical. It is also laughable that the study states that although the vaccine contains one neurotoxin (aluminum), it doesn't contain another (thimerosal). Doesn't that make you feel better? Please also know that other journal articles refute this study : http://web.ebscohost.com/ehost/detail?sid=b90a9ab6-7461-40f1-9f58-8daeee3c254f%40sessionmgr114&vid=1&hid=125&bdata=JnNpdGU9ZWhvc3QtbGl2ZQ%3d%3d#db=aph&AN=57689747

It is important that people who read News articles like this research the information for themselves. Ask yourselves why such a study was undertaken in the first place and if the results fit the plethora of individuals who are becoming ill. Perhaps it is the culmination of over 20 vaccines in a childs life up to age 15 that is the culprit. Perhaps the presence of recombinant DNA in Gardasil (TM) is a factor. The truth is does anyone really know what an individuals response to one, let alone 20 shots. Are investigators certain they are asking the right questions? Or are they prone to the same bias that Dr. Wakefield was accused of having.

As a researcher myself, I can tell you that when you know the outcome you are looking to see... you tend to see what you want to see and any good researcher would not allow terms like N/A (not applicable) stand in place of a number (a young persons disease) that should be accounted for.

"...company funded review". That says it all. When I buy a product, I don´t go to the company that produces that product to tell me whether it´s safe or not. I go to independent reviewers, like Consumer Reports. So where is the Consumer Reports for vaccines? That´s what I´d like to know.
