E² Acupuncture Science

Any skeletal muscle pain can be easily cured by Tradition Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncture.

For 4,610 years (2600BC), Yellow Explorer's time. Until now acupuncturist continues this ancient TCM practice to eliminating all diseases (trying). All the main hospitals of China use this to treat most patients as busy as KFC fast food.

Acupuncture treatment will has needling sensation effect for first few days. This called “DE Qi/Chi” (Arrival of Oxy’Blood---needling sensation). it must be achieved so that Yin & Yang(Negative and Positive energy) can be balanced and body’s immune system has strengthens, else diseases can’t be eliminated. The fundamental manipulating techniques are Lifting and thrusting & Twirling or rotating. TCM Acupuncture therapeutic works and easily cures muscular pain if apply correctly.

Beside sciatica(more trials needed), all others skeletal muscle pains are not recorded in TCM text therefore no “Acupoints(???)” can be provided to any acupuncturist as that they need to advancing the practice and pick the right AcuPoints.

Be respectful, Acupuncture is not a device or voodoo magic, it does not release any things (certainly not endorphins, inflammation, etc, ..) or anti-inflammatory agents. Please do not mislead. It is a marvelous 4,610+ years old, micro surgical tool, etc, .

“An acupuncture is bad science”. not much can be expected in 4,610 years ago, good science & resources only available from 1850AD such great scientists: Heinrich Hertz (1887) & Albert Einstein (1905).

Since 2005 E² Acupuncture has added a new chapter of modem acupuncture science. which has scientific proven, formulated, verified and even dispelling the amount of excessive Yins/-Toxin can be calculated. Treatment uses single new save disposal and painless micro-needle insertion to proper “Acupoints(??)” and has no side effects, least risk mainly due to accident same as any treatments. No Lifting and thrusting & Twirling or rotating manipulating needed so that patient cans comfortably having a cup of tea/coffee.

Acupuncturist must fully understood the Five Elements(五行), Five Changes(五变) and Five Shu/Transports(五输/通) Yin & Yang balance principles. if any one treated by 5 X 30 minutes in 2 weeks and has no relief by 4 weeks, please discontinues and shop around.

I have my Plantar fasciitis cured twice by my own EE Acupuncture, last cured was on march/2011 since then pain remains free and no sign of coming back. (EE: Eliminates Excessive Yins/-Toxin/Electrons)

Ironically, it was the work done on race horses in the USA using acupuncture that gave more credibility to the practice, since you can see by the horse's performance how effective the treatment was. Horses didn't have preconceptions about the treatments either.

I know of quite a few DVM's in CA who use acupuncture to treat their patients.

I would also ask if the doubters have been to China, where acupuncture is used quite extensively. Have they witnessed a C-section where acupuncture was the primary anesthetic. Most of the doubters are cloistered in their own limited field of ignorance and have not taken the scientific approach and examined all the available evidence.

A Dutch doctor once said that alternative medicines are the unpaid bills of "Western university medicine". This is certainly not true, because Complementary and Alternative Medicine offers much more to society. But it should be the reason that still so many sceptics, "regular" doctors and so called "scientists" fight vehemently their admittance!

The difference with this argument is that most of us who are supporting acupuncture have ACTUALLY TRIED IT! While you, without even trying it, are condemning it. It's one of the sad occurences in our society today. We READ tons of information, and whichever seems to fit what we want to believe, that is the one we decide to quote and believe. We don't go any further into studying the veracity of any and all claims, whether for or against our views.

I have tried it and have seen improvements that western medicine said could not happen (such as the disappearance of my fibrocystic breast disease). When I told my OB/GYN that it was the acupuncture, her response had been "that's ridiculous". So I asked her what she knew of acupuncture and she admitted that she didn't know anything about it, but that it just didn't seem to make sense so it couldn't be effective. I left her practice.

I still go to western medicine practitioners and, as far as I have read into the comments, no one has said that western medicine is ineffective. Just that it doesn't always have the answers. If I had followed the advice of 4 different western doctors, I'd still be suffering discomfort and pain from my fibrocystic breast disease because they had been taught that there was NOTHING THAT COULD BE DONE about it. And they were wrong. Though there is no one that would admit that, I'm sure.

I remember talking to a friend who was an administrator over at the UNC-Chapel Hill medical school and having him tell me that the average grade of a med school grad there was a 2.4. Many of them just barely achieving that "success". And once graduated, most didn't really keep up with the latest and greatest finds in medicine.

I would actually bring in white papers to my doctors and ALL of them would always be surprised at the findings for whatever it was that I was showing them.

And yes, you can use drugs but why would you want to introduce anything like that into your system if you could get the same results from something that utilized your bodies natural health systems? I have friends on prozac, zoloft, and such, who are in a terrible state. I'm not surprised so many folks are suicidal after these drugs.

Just TRY it. A real, honest-to-goodness try, before you say one way or the other. With nothing major. Just maybe a headache, or fatigue. You have nothing to lose except a few bucks. Just do your homework beforehand to make sure you have someone reliable at the helm (just as you would with your family doctor).

I just think it's so sad that we allow others to do the work and then adopt their supposed findings to reinforce our views rather than doing our own homework. Let's get educated and more sophisticated and actually put things to the test, rather than relying on PhDs with 2.2 GPAs and agendas of their own, bought out by the drug companies to favor the findings they need to continue to make a killing on the backs of working folks like us.

Acupuncture hasn't been around for thousands of years. That's an oft-repeated fallacy - the current practice is only a few decades old. Nor have the "changes" noted - even if accurate - reflective of anything other than a needle puncture (several studies have shown that the body notices when you stick a needle in it). The vast majority of studies also show that there is no such thing as an acupuncture point.

Acupuncture is a charade, wrapped in ritual, buttressed by good intentions.

David Ramey, DVM of CA 10:11PM June 01, 2010

I am trained in the sciences and love it when we can explain to our medical counterparts how and why acupuncture works and helps. I am amazed daily of the effects of Veterinary acupuncture in my patients. To watch horses relax with needles placed all over its body and a young pup even close its eyes with acupunture needles on board it will make even Dr. Dean Adell a believer.

"It's only been around for over 2000 years, has been used world-wide, and has few if any side effects. Can western medicine say that with complete confidence?

...

ACUPUNCTURE WORKS!"

And if you eat whale penis it will cure your impotence. Honest! That's also been around for thousands of years, has been used world-wide, and has no side effects. Except maybe for the whale...

WHALE PENIS WORKS!

PJ of MA 10:26AM June 01, 2010

Oh, yes, once again, western medicine is making the effort to "explain" acupuncture! As a practitioner trained in both western and eastern medicine, and preferring eastern medicine as my health care system of choice, my question is why is it necessary to "prove" that acupuncture works? It's only been around for over 2000 years, has been used world-wide, and has few if any side effects. Can western medicine say that with complete confidence?

Stop trying to "prove" that acupuncture works, and instead use those funds to educate and encourage its use as a complement to our pathetic excuse of a western "health care" system!

ACUPUNCTURE WORKS!

Interesting. It used to be acupuncture released endorphines, now it appears to release adenosine (instead?). I wonder which one of those is supposed to be Qi. Or maybe it's the serotonin that is released with acupuncture or maybe it's, um, some new other chemical thingy they find next month. After all, it's gotta be "one thing" right - couldn't possibly be synergistic effects of the body based on observations of differential signs and symptoms in relation to organic function/lifestlye choices/emotions/habits, etc....that would be so, so, um unscientific?? That's how the L.Ac's do it, so it has to be inferior to the MD's way, right?

I mean this medicine has only been around for thousands of years, it's not like it has been tested at all like, say "prozac" which has been around for decades.....

I wonder what relation adenosine has with regulating the menses or stopping cough/runny nose/anxiety/mobility/visual problems/menopausal syndrome... or any of the ohter non-pain related issues our patients come to L.Ac's to treat. It appears to effect sleep, but does it treat hypersomnia as well as insomnia?

I always think it's cool when a research paper shows a wm reason for acu to work. I think the problem though is now adenosine will probably be mass produced as a pain reliever drug and soon we'll get to experience the side-effects of adenosine O.D's and long-term problems of adenosine use.... Because I'm sure that "more is better" will repeat itself.

anyway, that's just my rant.

I am a licensed Acupuncture Physician/Doctor of Oriental Medicine. This is a title given to me by the Dept of Health of Florida. I am a primary care physician and was trained as such with 4000 hours of classroom time and 900 hours of clinical time (this is a masters degree...now there is a Phd available for those who chose) I happen to use a different system of diagnosis than MDs. My treatments are based on this system and has great success for more than pain. Here at our clinic we primary work on internal medicine issues. For broken bones we refer to hospital or when we feel there are issues we are not addressing well. As for research, there are volumes of research on the use of acupuncture and herbs (herbs are an intigral part of chinese medicine). The problem is that it is done in countries other than the US. When done in the US there is rarely properly trained herbalists or acupuncturists (most MDs are not trained in traditional acupunture diagnosis and treament). Though not a chinese herb, echinacea is a great example...the million dollar study a few years ago was great except that no herbalist was consulted. As a result they used one third the lowest usual dosage....shocking that it failed. Until western medicine can accept the existence of a safe, effective alternative to them they will not see the possiblities. The patients see it daily. We see all the ones that the MDs fail. Many are smart enough to come see us before surgery, before life long drugs so that we can actually fix them instead of masking symptoms. Please read the research from China, Japan, England, Italy, Germany, Russia and many other countries. Look at the smaller US studies that show we save money to the insurance companies. We are actually trained in everything from disease prevention to acute and chronic care. Please wake up and see the coworkers in health.
