I too have used the capsaicin cream and the burning sensation was almost worse than the pain. Please tell me that the patch would work differently. This is now going on for 13 months and I've tried everything.

My wife is having postherpetic neuralgia, where can she get Qutenza patches? Or maybe you can suggest me something similar. She's having a lot of pain and have tried different things, but didn't work at all, including capsaicin cream, but could not stand the burn sensation on her skin. So I thought the patches would work better.
I would appreciate any comment regarding this problem.

is qutenza a prescription drug? i have tried Capsaicin salve before with out much relief. I have had mutiple back surgeries (10) and need some relief bad. currently using morphine pump but dont like side effects
