sounds easier said than done. We all want to live longer just not willing to make the sacrifice, though we witch to live long lives at we neglect to do what we no is right. Is it because most Americans are stubborn? Perhaps we spoiled are self's so long it's what were use to. I think the real reason is because we have been sheltered from the truth for to long as brainwashed slaves trained cattle nothing more. follow these rules live longer that's the truth

I wouldn't be too quick to discount genes as both of my parents are still alive, alert and living at home at 89 (mom) & 90 (dad). He still handles all of the bills, legal, taxes etc. and drives having passed the test; the vision portion without his glasses. They both exercise, eat healthly and take supplements.

WOW ! it's amazing how fate works in your favor when you least expect it. i am a 38 yr old mother with 10 month old child who likes to dabble on the net at odd hours. this morning i decided to get on the net soley to shop for my little angel ! i have been on almost and hour and have yet to go to a shopping site. i guess this is what God meant for me and i take this article as my wake up call . the living longer article really stuck out to me primarly because i find myself thinking of death more now than i did 20 years ago. i guess thats pretty much the norm not to think about death when your 18 and feel like your either invincisble or you have many years ahead. being that i have hypertension makes me really want to live better so that i can live longer. i want to be around to see all those exciting, fun and simply gratifying moments that only parenthood can bring ! as a matter of fact i jotted down some of the cooking tips from other countries that i will implement in my cooking TODAY ! unfortunately my husband and I both have hypertension. however we believe that it can be a temporary medical condition in our lives but NOt allowing it to take over our lives. i even feel more enthused and motivated after reading this article at 6am ! we have taken for granted the need to exercise because it seems like there is just no time as new parents with both working outside the home. i know from experience how great it feels physically and mentally after exercising. this brings me to my grandmother who has lived 78 great years by sticking to these MUSTS: no eating after 6 pm, drinking lots of water and walking go hand in hand, use little saLT during cooking NEVER after, bake it dont fry it , a teaspoon of mustard goes a long way and finally WALK YOUR FOOD DOWN ! in other words, after a meal you should go walking so that everything is moving around and being worked off . whether true or not, she has undoubtfully lived a strong & vigorious lifestyle for75 years of her life until recently she began having multiple strokes which has brung about paralysis. doctors have told us on numerous occasions that had it not been for her youthful & active lifestyle her condition would not be as well as it is ! that in itself is enough for me to strive to believe that your article and grandma's tips are nothing short of a recipe for a good, long and happy life !

In my opinion, having at least one animal in your life, especially in your senior years adds a lot to your quality of life. Which in turn adds to your longevity, especially if you live alone. It adds daily responsibility, unconditional love, and pure happiness.
