I want to thank you for making a comment of Seventh Day Adventists. I'm not ashamed to tell my age which I am 60. My diet is 99% vegan. This is the healthist I have been all my life. I thank God for my health every morning when I have my private time with Jesus.

One thing was not mentioned in the statement of SDA's is our abiding relationship with Jesus. This relationship with Jesus helps with overcoming sin in our lives and draws us closer to Jesus who is our Savior.

We also belive that Jesus is coming back soon and the trails and tribulations of this lile will be over with and we can go home to be with Jesus when he comes back. John 14: 1-3

Keeping the 7th day Sabbath as a memorial to God creating the world in six days. On this day we dwell on Jesus. not think of earthly cares and worries.

It helps me know that God is in control of this world. Exdous 20:8-11

Yes I am a Seventh Day Adventist and I know that Jesus loves me and died for me.

For most of my life I've been fairly reclusive, having very few close friends. The people I work with are either married or 25-30 years younger than I am. I really don't fit into any group comfortably. I'm looking forward to retiring soon and moving to upstate NY where my daughter, son-in-law and grandkids live.

Good advice! My grandfather walked to and from work and at lunchtime as well in good weather. He went to bed and woke up at the same time everyday of his life regardless. If company was at his home, he invited them to stay and socialize with the rest of the family, but excused himself. Ate a Mediterrean diet since he was from that part of the world and eventually returned to Greece upon retirement when friends did the same. He married for a second time in his 70s after the death of my grandmother. He lived to 94 in good health.

I might add the importance of going to bed with a very possitive attitude, looking forward to a nice day approaching; for which we should have an objective, that could be in work, art, sports, etc.
