Why won't Drs. won't perscribe medication for pain, for those of us who don't abuse, use on schedule, monthly check-ins ? and have severe pain documented by several drs with the same outcomes.
I've tried to supplement with aspirin, but already having asthma and knowing products like celebrex and others aren't good to take due to side effects.
I fell on my knees the other night getting up to use the r.r., lost my balance, fell sideways
left a dent in my r thigh, still have bruises and now feels like I have no arch in my right foot.
My husband complained about money so I put it off and let it go, now i'm walking with a cane and knee brace with stablilizers for my r knee.
I'm afraid i've done a lot of damage but don't know what it would/could be. The MRI scheduled for Thurs will tell me everything.
This isn't the first time I've fallen on my knees, last summer stepping up to our backdoor, a step up to reach the door and I didn't get my foot high enough and down i go on both knees.
Again when I was about 7 or 8 yrs old, a hard fall on concrete in a park, that was the beginning of this whole mess. I fell so hard I couldn't get up and had to roll over onto the ground and rest the little body. I cried.
Beginning to wonder if I should apply for a "Hover Round" or something similar while I have
the opportunity and financial support. Already on Medicare w/ pri. ins.
Let me know what you think, in canse anyone reas this post.
