Using full flush niacin (without statin drugs) has been shown in previous studies to provide a 90 percent reduction in coronary disease, including a 90 percent reduction of heart attacks.

I would trust NOTHING coming out of Johns Hopkins. Google "Adventures in Cardiology" to learn why.

Since the average change in thickness shows more regression with niacin added, perhaps the headline for this article should read "Test Too Weak to Show Significant Benefit of Niacin".
