WE KNOW, AND ARE TOLD, THAT OUR EATING HABITS CAN AFFECT OUR HEALTH AND EVEN KILL US! YET, MOST DOCTORS WILL NOT TELL US HOW TO CONTROL GLUTEN INTOLERANCE, LACTOSE INTOLERANCE OR WHICH VITAMINS TO TAKE--AS IN FOLIC ACID, B6 AND B12. ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS GIVE US THE CONCENTRATED, EXPENSIVE CHEMICALS THAT TREAT THE PROBLEM AFTER IT IS FULL BLOWN!

I HAD TO RESEARCH AND FIND INOSITOL TO CONTROL FRIGHTENING AND DANGEROUS PANIC ATTACKS. I WAS IN EMERGENCY NUMEROUS TIMES AND HAD TO FINALLY RESEARCH THE STUDIES BEING DONE ON RETURNING SERVICEMEN FOR POST TRAUMATIC STRESS SYNDROME TO FINALLY GET TO THE NUTRIENT THAT MY BRAIN MAY HAVE BEEN LACKING--DUE TO THREE GASTROINTEROLOGISTS REFUSING TO TREAT ME FOR POOR DIGESTION--THE RESULT OF GLUTEN AND LACTOSE INTOLERANCE! ALL THEY WANTED TO DO WAS A COLONOSCOPY--NEVER MIND THE SMALL INTESTINE WAS DAMAGED FROM THE GLUTEN INTOLERANDCE AND FOOD COULD NOT SEND THE NUTRIENTS TO THE ORGANS OF MY BODY THAT NEEDED THEM--THEY JUST WANTED TO DO THE EXPENSIVE COLONOSCOPY WHICH HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MY NUTRITION AND THE FACT I WAS NOT GETTING THOSE NUTRIENTS THROUGH MY DAMAGED SMALL INTESTINE!

THE FIRST DOSE OF INOSITOL STOPPED THE PANIC ATTACKS WHICH I HAD FOR EVERY DAY FOR TWO YEARS.

STAND UP TO YOUR DOCTORS AND DEMAND THEY DO THEIR JOB.

are ice pic headaches anything to worry about? I have been getting them for years. Very frequently, sometimes daily. There are times when they just stop me dead in my tracks, the pain is so bad. Sharp electric-like shooting pains through my head. I always worried about the long term affects of these pains. No one has ever given me any answers.

..and then lists four risk areas (family history, migraines, TIAs and history of stroke) that you can't do anything about. This is having a negative impact on my blood pressure!

I suffered a stroke in september of 2009. Although my doctors stated many

causes, high blood pressure, diabetes 2, and high chloresterol to name a few,

they blame smoking by far the most. It's almost if they are saying "quit

smoking and your troubles are over. I once read an article that said that a

lot of doctors use smoking as a scapegoat, and quitting as a cure-all. The dangers of this assumption is they may never find the true cause or cure. My

wife died of "lung cancer". An MRI showed her lungs to be completely clear

and without any scarring, and the tumors were in her lower back and legs.

But because she smoked they treated it as lung cancer, telling us that her

immune system took care of the cancer in her lungs, but "daughter cells"

were sent out and caused the tumers in her lower back. She basically died

of chemo. Tobacco is a huge cash cow for the health care industry, and, as

a result, many doctors can't see beyond that.

Most doctors I have seen for issues in my brain ( MRI with 2 lesions and small vessel damage) don't react like its a problem. I have high blood pressure and my grandmother and grandfather's sister had strokes. I do unfortunately smoke also. I was given topamax for my migraines and sent home. Even after showing concern with the family history which also includes epilepsy I was treated like I was being ridiculous. Who has the patience and time and money to go from doctor to doctor trying to find a doctor who will respond. The same doctor who did my MRI gave me a ANA test which was positive for systemic auto immune. He sent me back to my PCP and I was basically told not to respond to an issue that hasnt showed itself yet. After many doctors I again am left with a doctor now who did not want to give a referral to a rheumatologist because my arthritis was osteo and not rheumatoid. Its one thing to see your risks but if you don't have a doctor who feels any sense of urgency there is nothing you can do.

Is there any way to remove myself as a top commentator? That would be the icing on the cake.

To really understand why people often have strokes we need to understand body chemistry and nutrition. http://www.healingnews.com/Healing_heart_disease_article101.html

When veins, arteries or the vital nervous system are impacted by blockage, this can cause body systems to shut down, or high blood pressure, and though the heart is still pumping people often have a "stroke" with this condition.

Grease or thick fats, sometimes from smoking, and often from saturated animal fats or poly unsaturated hydrogenated oil cause this. When veins and arteries become completely clogged, or tumor build-up restricts our circulation system - something has to give.

Tumors in and around the neck area often cause migraines when circulation is restricted to the brain. Operations, or conventional procedures to remove these can lead to other severe symptoms, so make sure your chosen heath care practitioner understands the "holistic" approach, realizing how all aspects of body, mind, spirit and surroundings affect this at times. http://www.HealingNews.com
