Exploring Genetic Link Between Migraines, Cardiovascular Trouble

I cant prove it but I have a 46 yr old son who has very high triglicerides and cholestrol readings who experiences frequent severe migranes. as a concerned parent I am beginning to believe that the Doctors are not looking at a potential cause. In fact they are more concerned about treating the pain than looking for a related symptom. He lives in a different State and I am trying to get him to go to a Cardiologist.

My feelings from what I read and know of people who have Migranes are some of them actually have high trigliceride readings. Also since Triglicerides can cause stroke which is a blood supply problem, it seems that a connection can be made for people suffering from migranes. Perhaps not all, but certaintly those with the high readings. Would not that be easier to treat and see if in fact a true relationship exits. Are there any tests being conducted for such a relationship??? If so i would like to contact them.
